Calblanque Sunrise

This was my first proper sunrise shoot. I managed to pull myself out of bed at 6am and head to the Calblanque nature reserve to shoot the sunrise from the beach. A very cloudy dull sky stood before me. Typical, i thought. The only time i get up this early to catch a nice sky, and it's cloudy. After nearly giving up and going home, the Sun rose slightly more, shedding some colour to the lower clouds, and managing to break a few rays through. I've read a few times "sometimes you just have to wait", and I'm glad i did.
